It all began in 1854, when Giovanni Beretta, a native of Mergoscia and a teacher in Gordevio, decided to embark on a bold and innovative path by founding the brewery that is now the home of our Osteria.
Fascinated by the brewing techniques of the time, Giovanni dedicated himself to the creation of a beer that could tell the story of the territory and its authentic soul.
